Trump Administration Finalizing New Travel Ban

The Trump administration is in the final stages of implementing a new travel ban that will restrict entry into the United States for citizens of several countries. Officials confirmed that individuals from blacklisted nations will be barred from entering the U.S. The ban is based on an executive order signed by President Trump on 01/20/2025, titled "Protecting the United States from Foreign Terrorists and Others." The administration argues that this measure is necessary to safeguard national security and maintain public order. According to reports, the countries currently included in the ban are Sudan, Venezuela, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Iran, Libya, Cuba, and North Korea, with expectations that Pakistan and Afghanistan will also be added to the list.
